tribal tattoo designs for couples

Yantra tattooing (Thai: ????????; rtgs: sak yan; Khmer: ?????????; Burmese: ??????????) is a kind of tattooing that originated among the list of Tai tribes of southwestern China and northwestern Vietnam over 2,000 years back, according to Chinese language chronicles of that time period. It involves sacred geometrical, creature and deity designs associated with Pali phrases offering power, protection, lot of money, charisma and other benefits for the bearer. Today it is applied mainly in Thailand, also to a lesser degree in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
Sak means tattoo in Thai, and yan is the Thai pronunciation for the Sanskrit expression yantra, a kind of mystical diagram found in Dharmic religions.
Sak yan designs are usually tattooed by ruesi (the Thai form of rishi), wicha (magic) professionals, and Buddhist monks, typically with a metallic pole sharpened to a spot (called a khem sak).
