The tattoo is no longer raised, and it looks great. It has not scabbed at all and it has itched the last 3 days, today hardly at all though. I have no dropped to washing it in the AM and before bed and still putting ointment on it. It really looks healed other than the minimal itching today, I think by tomorrow night I could take a warm and much needed relazing bath :) What do you think?!?! last wednesday as in the tattoo will be9 days old by tomorrow :) haha, well I am showering you just arent supposed to soak in a hot tub or hot water after the tattoo, but just seeing if its been long enough so that I can take a bath!!

Just cause you have a tattoo doesn't mean you can't have a bath! You're meant to be keeping it clean as long as you didn't pick it it's fine

As long as all colored scabs are gone your good to go! If there is even one colored scab, the no, you can still damage the tattoo. But being 9 days old I think your good! Even if it looks kinda milky, that's just a protective layer of dead skin. lotion and healing ointment aren't even needed any more.

You could have taken a bath wednesday. water will not hurt your tattoo. lightly wash it with soap and water, and by now you should be applying non-scented lotion, like eucerin or simple jergens. it should start to scab over. let it breathe.

Stick to showers for a few more days. New tattoos shouldn't be submerged for at least 2 weeks, even if they look healed.

NO you're tattoo is still too fresh. New tattoos shouldn't be submerged in water until they are completely healed. Your tattoo is not healed yet, it can take 4-6 weeks for a tattoo to fully heal.
