Is flying tiger tattoos a good brand for tattoo machines buying through ebay?
i want to start learning how to tattoo and i would like to know if this would be a wise purchase through ebay as a starter kit the brand name is flying tiger tattoos.. thanks. be great if somebody who has purchased this item can give me some imput. others are welcome as well. thanks again.

I am an artist musician who wants to begin tattooing but I'm not sure what equipment to buy. I already know that everyone likes different machines and the quality of the tattoos depends mostly on the artist. I want something that is a reasonable price, runs smoothly, and is going to last. I've considered Tattoo starter kits but I haven't heard much good about them. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions???I know that that tattooing isn t something you just go buy a starter kit for & practice but you can t learn without doing. I m not completely ignorant on the subject & I don t plan to tattoo anyone until my skills are worthy enough to put on skin, like I said I ve considered tattoo kits, only because they are cheaper to buy it all together. I have already tried going to tattoo shops & bugged the out of them they kept shrugging me off & gave me useless information. There aren t many reputable tattoo artist shops in my area so I was planning on watching many videos of professional artist while practicing on false skin, oranges, & grape fruit until I can find a mentor. I ve been drawing for years, have been known to be a detailed artist & I ve been working on my portfolio. I want advice from actual tattoo artist & their opinions about the equipment they have used. So far I have heard the most positive comments about Mickey Sharps & Time Machines.

ive been tattooing for about 2 years now....but ive only been using a cheap starter kit that i first bought....im looking to invest in a better gun, but am not quiet sure what to look for when purchasing one.....is an iron machine better? and anyone have any good suggestions about a specific machine?

Alright, I'm trying to start getting into tattooing and practicing. I bought a starter kit, I know how everything works and I've been around tattooing for a while. But my kit didnt come with a key part. I just need to find a connector to connect the peddle to the machine thus connecting to the power supply and I'm not having any luck finding it ANYWHERE online.. Does anyone know where I can get one??? I hope I've explained this correctly.
Where can I buy cheap tattoo machine light?
I have browsed many that led tattoo machine lights at ebay, and they all need over 10 dollars, some even ask for 30 dollars. Are there any cheaper and still quality ones? 5 to 8 dollars will be OK. I think that stuff shouldn't be that expensive.
Why is my tattoo machine so slow?
I'm starting my apprenticeship soon and I've bought myself all the neccessary equipment. I've assembled the machine and plugged it in to the power supply but it's so slow It should be really speedy but it's just going 'click'...'click'...'click'. The needle is moving in and out but not at the pace I'd like it to. Is it something to do with my power supply or my machine? And before anyone decides to drop some words of wisdom, no, I'm not going to tattoo anybody until I know what I'm doing...ThanksBobcat you ought to have some fucking manners. Before you all start lecturing me please read on...I am an artist who would just like to play with a new medium. I will not be going anywhere near people, I would just like to make some art on practice skins. I hear that the quality of the art depends a lot on the quality of the machine, so I don't want something that is super cheap in quality. I would just like a reasonable priced machine for a hobbyist.
