Question: How can i "spice up" this tattoo image?

Maybe u can add flowing lines around it or add a background color. Sorry but its hard because the original is so simple.

Tattoos break my heart. As a mother it would rip my heart up to see permanent ink on my children's skin. I think tattoos makes people look hideous.

Put and extra outline around it in a bright color! Thats what I would do!

Have them shade it to where it looks like it's made of iron bars or make the lines thinner and more swirly

Outline the cross in the center with red and put a gold line through the center of the vertical and horizontal components of the cross, stopping the colors at the imaginary inner border of the ring around the cross. the colored lines should only be thick enough to show well not so they stand out glaringly.
