Why do people get star tattoos?
why do people get star tatoos? no, actually why are people really getting star tattoos for nowadays? i dont know if its just me or if its some corrolation with the same reason why people get an ipod. not for the music but because everyone has one. i mean come on some of these tattoos seem like there more for look then for sympathy.

Is there any cool shooting star tattoos out there?
When I was younger about a year old , we had gotten a puppy for the family to enjoy. I grew up with this dog, and I loved her a lot. A few years ago October 22nd, 2007 we had to put her down. It was due to several things cancer, half blind deaf, troubles goign to the bathroom, fell down stairs, fat tumors . Her name was " Wishin' Star" . We called her Star for short. I would like to get a tattoo on my wrist in memorial of my dog. I'd like to get some sort of star, or shooting star, with the date of her birth and death right underneath the shooting stars or whatever I choose. I am having a hard time trying to find good shooting star or star tattoos. Can someone help me? Or give me other ideas. It would be great. Thanks

I saw a tattoo on this girl's wrist and I was wondering what it meant. It was a plain black star outline inside of a circle, but one of the star points was rounded. I'm pretty sure a plain star in a circle has wiccan orgins, but I've never seen a star with a rounded point like that.Does anyone know what it means?

My friend told me this story behind getting star tattoos on your hand. I think it's really interesting but I haven't been able to find similar stories online so I'm unsure if it's an official meaning. He said " sailors and people in the navy get tattoos on their hands sometimes. This is because if you're drowning you reach out to the stars. But if there's no stars visible you can have your star on your hand to represent the ones in the sky so you'll always have something to reach for" I think that's really cool. And I guess there's a big debate, or at least many theories, over nautical star symbolism but has anybody heard this before?
