Question: I don't understand white ink tattoos?

I understand why people want to get them. There hard to bee seen but if you don't want it seen don't get a tattoo. In my opinion I think white ink tatts look like scars and strectch marks. I also heard that they don't stick well so you'd have to get it touched up a lot. Why spend the money and go through the pain for work that doesn't really look that good.

Some people want a tattoo to remind them of something yet they don't want a tattoo that is always visible, or some want a private tattoo, that they only know is there- hence a white tattoo would be the good choice for them in these cases. I do agree with you that plain white tattoos can look like scars, or stretch marks, and they do need to be retouched every few years, but for some people they have no problem with this as at the end of the day they have a tattoo that they're happy with. I guess at the end of the day it's a personal choice.

White ink is normaly used on darker skin people and it also brings life to tattoos,for examples if someone is having a protrait on them they'd put white ink in the eyes to make them more real and you can notice it.But i know where your coming from i think ive seen someone have a white tattoo,maybe they dont want it showing as much?

White ink is primarily used to highlight a tattoo like in the eyes or hair so it looks more lifelike. some people may also want one that's easy to hide for certain occasions, they may like their tattoo but they may not always want to show it off.
