Question: Where to learn on how to tattoo is there a course being offered?

As far as I know, these don't exist. I have only ever heard of people either teaching themselves or, more often, apprenticing to an existing artist. This generally costs quite a bit of money, but is common enough. Some artists even take on regular apprentices-- one each year, for example. If there are classes, somewhere, hiding, please let me know! I'd love to sign up! :)

I asked a local tattoo shop and they said you have to pay a shop to take you on as an apprentice. So starting off by drawing and practicing and having them guide you along. Then after a year or more you can start tattooing if they think you're ready. They also said that art courses in college REALLY helps and will speed along with the sketching part of tattooing, and then at least you have the basics down and can hopefully get started on your tattooing career asap.

Well, not too sure abt it too, but you can check 88db website for list of tattoo studios, you can call them up and ask them how you can learn with them...hope this helps
