|Finding Out If
The Tattoo Sleeve Is Right For You
Tattoos done by skilled and talented tattoo artist can really be a work of art. Tattoos are amazing because they are inked right onto your skin. With a few good tattoos you can easily turn your body into a beautiful work of art.
Tattoos can be put on any part of your body. The placement of your tattoo is your own personal choice. One of the most popular forms of tattoos is the tattoo sleeve.
The Tattoo Sleeve
You may be asking yourself what a tattoo sleeve is, it is a tattoo that covers a large part of your body. The tattoo will cover so much skin that you will not be able to see very much of your skin in the tattoo. Your tattoo sleeve can be anything you want but is usually objects, designs, and patterns.
Because of the name tattoo sleeve, it is most commonly found on the arms. There are a few different types of tattoo sleeves; there is the full sleeve, which obviously is the whole arm, shoulder to wrist. Half sleeve which covers your elbow to wrist, and quarter sleeve which is shoulder to bicep.
The tattoo sleeve can not only be on your arms, it can also be on your legs. The sleeve tattoo doesnít just cover the top part of your arm or leg, it must wrap all the way around the arm or leg to truly be a tattoo sleeve.
Tattoo sleeves are often very beautiful and can become an artwork all its own and the best part is that it is on your body. Planning a tattoo sleeve is very important though it can be time consuming. Never rush your tattoo sleeve design. A well planned tattoo sleeve can be a work of art, but a rushed poorly planned tattoo sleeve can be awful.
When considering getting a tattoo
sleeve, you will want to pay attention to the price. These tattoos are not very cheap. The more unique and intricate the design, the more it is going to cost. If you get a tattoo sleeve be prepared to pay anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand.
Because these tattoos cover a large part of your body and are often very detailed, you wonít be getting it done in one session. You will have to come in multiple times to have the tattoo sleeve finished. A tattoo sleeve can take as much as 20 hours to get done. Your tattoo artist will break up the sessions into allotments that will work for both of you. Be prepared to go into the tattoo parlor many times before your sleeve is finished.
Donít make the decision of getting a tattoo sleeve lightly. You will be spending a lot of money and time in a tattoo chair before your full sleeve is finished. Donít rush into the decision give yourself time to picture what it would look like and if you could stand it for the rest of your life. Always plan the tattoo sleeve very carefully before getting one, your tattoo artist may even be able to help.
